On June 5, 2024, the 2024 China US Conformity Assessment Work Conference was held in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei Province in a combination of offline and online methods.

本次会议重点就中美合格评定法规政策最新情况、中美碳领域合格评定政策等议题进行了研讨和交流，为进一步拓展和升级中美合格评定合作成效建立了良好的平台。

The focus of this meeting was to discuss and exchange ideas on the latest situation of China US compliance assessment regulations and policies, as well as China US carbon compliance assessment policies. This has established a good platform for further expanding and upgrading the effectiveness of China US compliance assessment cooperation.

多年来，中国国家认监委与美国国家标准化机构一直保持着良好的沟通与合作，双方开展了积极、务实的工作，为有效解决贸易中遇到的问题、保护消费者权益等，提供了良好的沟通渠道，促进了中美经贸的健康发展。

For many years, the China National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) has maintained good communication and cooperation with the US National Standardization Institute. Both sides have carried out active and pragmatic work, providing a good communication channel for effectively solving problems encountered in trade and protecting consumer rights, promoting the healthy development of China US economic and trade.

国家市场监督管理总局认证监督管理司姚雷副司长和美国国家标准化机构约瑟夫•特瑞特勒副总裁分别率中方市场监管总局认证监管司、认可检测司、国际合作司、认证认可技术研究中心、中国合格评定国家认可中心，和美方国家标准化机构、美国驻华使馆，以及双方相关行业组织、合格评定机构、科研院所和企业等共50余名代表在线下和线上参加了会议。

Yao Lei, Deputy Director of the Certification and Supervision Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Joseph Tretler, Vice President of the National Standardization Organization of the United States, led more than 50 representatives from the Certification and Supervision Department, Accreditation and Testing Department, International Cooperation Department, Certification and Accreditation Technology Research Center, China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, as well as the National Standardization Organization of the United States, the US Embassy in China, and relevant industry organizations, accreditation institutions, research institutes, and enterprises of both parties to attend the meeting offline and online.
